Captain Ralph Barnes is a certified US Coast Guard licensed Master Captain with a Near Coastal Endorsement. He is a member of the Deale Charter Captains Association and the Maryland Charter Captains Association. Captain Ralph has fished the Chesapeake Bay his entire life, beginning by fishing with his dad on the Upper Bay.  He would fish for small rockfish, perch and croaker.   Captain Ralph remembers the days of bluefish blitzes where it seemed that the entire Bay was nothing but bluefish. He also remembers the great flounder fishing. Although times have changed, the fishing continues to be great.  But of all his year's fishing he has never seen the Spring Rockfish as good as it has been the last several years.  Rockfish are the most rewarding catch of the Bay, along with the huge black drum that come along in June. Captain Ralph invites you to join him charter fishing the Chesapeake Bay.  Remember, any day on the Bay is a good day.
